Taste, smell, sight, hearing and touch
are the five senses. Our bodys are so amazing that senses can combine to give us a fuller experience.

Students of year 6 have worked this topic at school through some experiments.

ANIMAL AND PLANT CELLS

All animals and plants are made of cells. Animal cells and plant cells have feaures in common, such as a nucleus, cytoplasm, cell membrane, mitochondria and ribosomes. Plant cells also have a cell wall, and often have chloroplast and a permanent vacuole.

Here we show some animal and plant cells made out of plasticine by our students of year 5.
