Parts of the body

Can you point your fingers and do the twist. 

Year-1-students have been playing and learning about the parts of the body in the Sciences class. They have labelled drawings and their own bodies too!! It has been great fun! These are some pictures of the activities.

Parts of the plant

Student of Years 1 and 2 have been studying the parts of the plant, and they have elaborated wonderful crafts about this topic. These are some photos of the results.

Earth movements

The Earth travels around the Sun. The Moon travels around the Earth. And Students of Year 1 have been learning about Earth movements in Natural Sciences class. They have elaborated great crafts to show the movements of Earth, Sun and Moon.

Water Cycle

The Water Cycle is the journey water takes as it circulates from the land to the sky and back again. Students of Year 2 and 3 have been working on this topic and they have created wonderful crafts in Natural Sciences class.

How human body works?

Students of Year 3 and Year 4 have been learning about human body systems, and how the organs and other structures of the body work by doing different type of activities. Here you can see some of the ideas teachers have carried out in class.

Sink or Float?

Students of Year 3 have been working on this experiment today. The purpose was to make and test predictions about sinking and floating and then classify objects according to weather they sink or float. Here there are some photos of the science class.

THE SOLAR SYSTEM

Our solar system is an exciting place. It is full of planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and many other objects.

Students of year 3 have worked on this topic and have built some crafts too.

EXPERIMENTS IN THE SCIENCE LAB

Students of year 1 have been visiting the Science Lab with the teacher in charge of that room, D.Manuel. They have had a good time watching amazing experiments and listening to different entertaining stories. Here there are some pictures of the experience.

THE FIVE SENSES

Taste, smell, sight, hearing and touch

are the five senses. Our bodys are so amazing that senses can combine to give us a fuller experience.

Students of year 6 have worked this topic at school through some experiments.

 

 

ANIMAL AND PLANT CELLS

All animals and plants are made of cells. Animal cells and plant cells have feaures in common, such as a nucleus, cytoplasm, cell membrane, mitochondria and ribosomes. Plant cells also have a cell wall, and often have chloroplast and a permanent vacuole.

Here we show some animal and plant cells made out of plasticine by our students of year 5.

My Pet

These are some of the pets' projects students from year 3 did:
