Students from Year 5 are studying living things. Last week we visited the science lab to learn more about fish.

We have different types of microscopes at the Science Lab:

Students worked in pairs to carry out two different tasks:

TASK 1

Choose two animal samples and two human samples. Observe them with the binocular microscope and draw your observations in the sheet below.

TASK 2

Choose one sample. Observe it with the different magnification objectives and draw what you see in the observation sheet.
